About:Xiqiao Mountain

Hi all, I'm staying at a hotel in Fochen Road, Chencun, Shunde Area, Foshan, can I bus to Xiqiao Mountain?

Otherwise what r my options and what is the cheapest easiest way to get there pls.

From your hotel, you can walk to reach Shunlian Square Station where you can take the Tourism Bus Line 4 to reach Dongjian Century Square Station. At that station, you can find the bus 226. Take bus 226 to reach Xiqiao Bus Station. Then you can hire a local car to treach the mountain directly.

Sure is a breath taking place to visit! the entry cost is 70 RMB's (this covers a buggy ride, but wasn't available when I visited - due to rainy weather they said. . .); the site is huge and if your fit it's much nicer to hike your way around (that's what I did) as there are many sites to visit besides the main attraction of the highest Buddha.
be aware that there are hawks just outside and will try to make something out of any tourist for driving you around. mind you all is not expensive after all.
I also bused there from where I was (close to Shunlian Sq) 2 buses 4 and 226 and cost me only 5 and 5 RMB's and walked to the mountain entry point and got a free map from visitor's center at entrance.
