About:Taiwan Attractions

Would self-guided travel to taiwan for 5d4n, any trip suggestion?

Just stay at taipei? or go around the country? 5 days is a bit short.
Any thing that is must on that island?

5 days are OK for traveling in Taipei.
Beitou, Mt. Yangming, Jiufen and Taipei City are worth seeing.
