Which Visa for Internship?

Hi, i am a UK citizen, currently in Shanghai - F Visa studying an intern. But i am aware there have been some rule changes, i have found another internship with different company... Im flying to Hong Kong to renew my current one which is due to complete in a few days. Which type am i eligible to now? F or M ? and how long duration can i get? I've been hearing 30/60 days, some agencies say you can still get a 1 year business type. A lot of confused info out there. Any answers would help. Thanks

Personally, I think F is ok. F is for non-commercial visit and M is for trade activity. It takes four working days to process your application.

About the duration of stay, I think it should be based on the invitation letter, with details information about your internship. 6 months one is ok if you plan to stay for 6 months. As i know, the F can be issued with one year validity and multiple entries.
