About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Getting a Chinese working visa from HK

Hello, i am a romanian citizen and i am now in China with a 30 days F type one which i will extend it for another 30 days. During this time i want to search for a job. If i go to Hong Kong, can i apply for a chinese Z type one from there? How long it would take to get it? Thank you very much !

You can apply for it in HK but no one can guarantee that you will get one successfully. Here is another choice. If you find a job, you can change your F to Z without leaving. You can ask an agent to do it or apply for it on your own.

Oh really? I can change my F into a Z without leaving China? Well that would be great but i have to check it out. And probably have to apply like one month
before my F expires, right?

It is possible to change types without leaving currently, but you can also confirm this with an agent if necessary. For F extension, application should be submitted to the PSB at least 7 days before the expiration.
