fenghuang to zhangjiajie/wulingyuan

Question

I'm planning to visit Fenghuang for the day and then return to my hotel in Wulingyuan. I've found plenty of information on getting to Fenghuang. I'm just worried about getting back to Wulingyuan. I would like to watch the sunset there, but I'm afraid it won't be possible. What is the latest time I can leave Fenghuang by either bus or train to get back to ZJJ/Wulingyuan?

The last bus from Fenghuang to reach Wulingyuan is at 14:30. There is no train between the Wulingyuan and Fenghuang. So I think it may be impossible to travel from FH to WLY in one day.
