About:Shuaiyuan Redware Teapots Museum

i will be changing jobs at the end of the year after being told my services are no longer required.

The contract is not due to finish until end of 2015, so by law will my old employer have to sign a release letter so my new employer can change the resident permit in to there name? i have heard stories about many foreigners having issues getting the release letter...
please advise...

Yes, you have to acquire the release letter so that your new employer can help you get your new residence permit. Be careful that some employers might cancel your residence permit. If your employer cancels your residence permit, you can go to the local Entry and Exit Administration Department and probably you will get a temporary L type one.

Unless you quit the job without your employer's permission. In your situation, I think it is ok and you can get a release letter from your employer if everything goes "friendly". You can stay with your current residence permit without problem until you find a new position.
