About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I came from Philippines but I live in Japan for several years and I am permanent residence here in Japan.

I am planning to travel in china for tourist, do I have to apply for visa?

Yes, you need to apply one for your visit from the designated travel agency. The documents required are: your passport, a filled application form, a recent passport size photo and an invitation letter. If you can't provide the invitation letter, round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation are needed.
