About:China Customs Declaration

I plan on bringing airplane bottles of liquor as gifts and maybe some liquor for myself to China.

If I bring more than 1.5 liters, what sort of fees will I face?

Firstly, you can just take that as check-in baggage. It is forbidden to take liquor onto plane. Well, if it is 1.5lts, you need to pay tax, and I remember the tax rate is 50%.
