About:China Map

Help me about by bike traveling

Hi! I'm Mr. Choi and live in South Korea.
I will go bicycle travel from Xian to Urumqi about Sep. ~ Oct..
Where can I buy the detail map for bicycle travel(English or Chinese)
How Is it the weather Sep.~Oct. for bicycle travel?
And let me know information about the route.

Sorry I have no idea where you can get the map for details, but you can have a try at the book store. If in Xian, Hantang Book Store at Xiaozhai is suggested for you. There you may find such a map or a map of northwestern China.

It would be pleasant to bicycle around Sep. and Oct. for this jouney. Sunny days would be the majority and the average temeprature shall be around 22C.

It sounds great about your bicycling plan. Camping will not be a problem if you have strong adjustment capability in wild. Eating is easily available on the way. And road condition shall be fine. You can bicyle along Expressway G30, which connects the two places.

As for the guidebook about this route trip, it may be a little hard to get. However, I am living in xian and I'd like to help you to find this weekend at large bokstore like Hantang.
