Will it be very cold?. Do you think think these plases are suitable for the kids as well as old folk. Pls advise

If you plan to go to Taipei area, the average temperature is around 5 to 10C, but for mountain area, it is around 0 to 5C. For kids and old folk, it is suggested to take thick sweaters and thick coat. For mountain area, if you have down jacket, it is suggested to take it.
