About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is a visa required if you arrive at Beijing airport, leaving within 72 hours in a cruise?

Im traveling to Beijing to vacation on a cruise. The cruise is departing 48 hours of our arrival.

You are required to apply for a Chinese visa in advance if you travel like this. Under the regulation of 72 hour free transit, you need to leave from Beijing airport only.
