About:Shuhe Ancient Town

Admission & Protection fee to Shuhe Old Town

Hi! I will be staying in Lijiang Lu House Boutique Hotel for 2 nights in my upcoming trip to Lijiang at the end of this month. Do I need to pay the admission and protection fee each time I enter and exit from the town? Do they have a special pass for those staying there? Appreciate your advice. Thanks!

The admission and protection fee can only be paid once.
For the special pass, what do you mean? I do not think I grasp your meaning.

What I mean is that I am staying in the town for 2 nights. Therefore, I will be going in and out of the Old Town to visit some other places like the Old Town in Dayan, Jade Snow Mountain, etc. In this case, whenever I step out, and when I want to go back to the hotel at night, do I need to pay these fees again? Or is there a special pass for those staying in hotels of SH town?

No, you don't need to pay the fees again. Just tell the staff that you have checked in a certain hotel in the town and they will let you in. Or you can ask your hotel to provide a proof, with which you can come and out freely.

Thanks! That was what I had in mind, a pass/confirmation from the hotel should be proof enough of our stay.

Hi, I just consult one of my friends again. She said if you ask, your hotel would provide the so-called "Accommodation Proof/Card".
