timing from xianback in two days

Question

I want to climb up to be early enough to see sunset at west peak. What time should I leave Xian? I will come down next day probably with cable car..where can I book a hotel? Cheers

I suggest you leave from Xian as early as possible since the journey takes around 3 hours if you take bus to Huashan. The earliest bus is available at 08:00 at Xian Railway Station and 07:00 at Cheng Dong Coach Station. As for the hotel, you can contact the agency to help you to book it.
