hi, how do we get to putuoshan from xiamen?

my mom is a buddhist and she wants to see the famous guan yin cave where buddha made an apparision... please help! thank you!

Do you refer to the Putuoshan in Zhoushan?
If so, it is suggested to fly to Zhoushan airport first. Then you can take a taxi to reach Wusongzhi Port where you can find the ferry to reach Putuoshan directly.
