Take bus no. 50 or 69 to travel from your university to local General Bus Station, where you can take a direct bus to Linju. Upon your getting Linju, you can easily catch a bus to Mt. Yi.

how far is it from WF medical college? do i need to reserve a room for the night or can i return without spending the night there?

Firstly, Heidi should refer to Linqu instead of Linju.

college is around 3.5km from the General Bus Station. WF is around 1.5 hour's bus journey from Linqu. Therefore, as long as you depart in the early morning, you can get back in the same day.
