Hong Kong - Beijing - Munich

Hi there,
are you sure that Hong Kong - Beijing - Munich works out? Is Hong Kong officially see as a third country? Anyone knows where I can check? Thanks a lot!

Although HK belongs to China it has its own immigration laws where even Chinese nationals need to have permit to visit. If a person has single entry Chinese visa, if he goes to HK from Mainland, he won't be allowed to reenter China unless he reapplies a new Chinese visa.
