About:China Visa Exemption

Do i need visa if I stay at my friends' home?

Hi i Will be visiting Hongkong for 2 days. I am travelling to Taïwan. And i'd like to sleep at my friends place in shenzen. I am canadian.

Yes, you need one. But you can apply for the VOA at Luohu Border. After you come to your friend's home, don't forget to register at the local police station.
