How to visit Tianmenshan in 1 day

We are staying at the Yijiaqin Hotel in downtown Zhangjiajie which is close to the lower station of the Tianmenshan cable car (I think). We are going to be there in the early morning to catch the first car up (what time does it start? Current price?). When we get to the top, we want to walk on the Skybridge and then we want to go see the Tongtian Dadao (Heaven Reaching Ladder). What is our best route to do this? We don't have to leave until 3pm, so what else can we explore and see up there? We are 2 older ladies so the easiest route is best.

It starts at 07:30 in the morning. The Tianmenshan entrance fee include the cable car's fare and the total price is 258RMB per person.
When you reach the top of the mountain, you can visit the Skybridge first. Then you can take the cable car to reach the Tianmenshan Middle Station. Then you can take the shuttle bus to enjoy the Tongtian Dadao. After that you can take the cable car to go back.
It suggested you spend the whole day on the mountain. On the top of the mountain, the Tianmenshan Temple is also suggested.

Are there places to buy food up there? And toilets? Once we cross the skybridge, should we go back the way we came to the cable car station or continue walking around the mountain? We are there in early September, will there be a 'sea of clouds' at any particular time of day? We are taking photos so we want to know when is the best time to photograph the Tongtian Dadao and the skybridge area and the Sky Reaching Avenue, morning or afternoon?
