About:China Train

If I book a soft sleeper on a fast train, is this the only place I can sit?

What facilities are there for passengers to sit on the train during the day? Is there a dining car? If I book a soft sleeper, are there other places I can sit during the day? Or do I have to sit on the soft sleeper for the duration of the trip?

Hello Ruth. There are small fold down seats and tables on the other side of the car. I don't know about anywhere else.

Lights will be turned off in the sleeping car at 10:00 PM.

surely, there is a small table and chair in front of the bed, you can seat there at daytime.
