changsha bus stationrailway station-how close are they?

Question

I have to take a bus from Fenghuang city to CS to catch a G-train to Shenzhen.  Where will the bus drop us off and where do we go to catch the G-train? Are they close? Can I walk (I am an older lady) or is there easy public transport or do I take a taxi?

The buses from Fenghuang reaches CS West Bus Station. The G-trains from CS to Shenzhen starts from CS South Railway Station. There is about 27 to 30km between the two places. The local bus line 63(fast) runs between the two stations.In my opinion, it is suggested to take a taxi to reach the south railway station directly, which is fast and convenient.
