Weather- Typhoon season in Hainan

When is the normal typhoon period on that island?
I am interested to go there from 23 -30 August.

Typhoon season for that island is from August to September, but to be honest, typhoon seldom come to that island, so the effect is so small.
I think you can go there to enjoy as you planed.
If you are unlucky to meet one, it is very safe to stay in the house.
