About:China Student Visa

I am going to China for a year as part of my university course which visa can I apply for?

I will be attending Fudan University in Shanghai from September 2013 to January 2014 after which I will be doing a 6 month intern-ship in either Shanghai or Qingdao. Which is the best type for me to apply for?

You should apply for a student X if you will study in Fudan for a year, and apply for X extension for the 6 month intership.
