Request for Guidience on Public Transports in HK?

My wife and me will be visiting that city on the 23 August and till 27 August . We will be arriving and departing by HKIA. We are planning to use the Public transport during our stay in Hong kong, we hope to visit as much places of interest ,and sightseeing as we can. Also will be going to Disneyland .
