About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

Moving from Germany to China. German appliances will work in China?

Germany 230 / 50 HZ
China 220 / 50 HZ
Appliances: TV, refrigerator, freezer, vaccum cleaner, etc )

It will depend on the appliance. Fridge and freezer should be a problem. vacuum probably won't have quit the amount ps suction it does in gemrmany. TV might not be as bright as it used to.

Present electronic devices have regulated switch-mode power supplies, which work perfectly from 100 V to 240 V, without the need to switch anything. The internal voltages will therefore be the same.

On the other hand, Chinese video signals can differ from German ones, and the TV unable to receive or understand them. It's the main problem => black screen in this case.

Refrigator, freezer and vaccum cleaner will work perfectly !
