About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I'd like to visit China with my son who earlier had minor convictions for larceny. Visa? yes or no?

My adult son was diagnosed with schizophrenia a few years ago. Before his diagnosis he had been convicted of some quite minor matters, including petty larceny (less than $200) and disruptive behaviour - he was psychotic at the time. He is now medicated and his behaviour is well-controlled. Will his past record prevent him from entering China?

May I know your purpose to China? is it for tourism? and how long will you stay there? As I know, a Crimnal Background Check is required for work Z application now.
