Hi Charline- I was skimming through questions and saw yours- you mention your life has been full of sadness- I just want you to know that- whoever you are- wherever you are- I hope you have better experiences in your future- i have recently heard someone else say something similar to what you said - and I find it devastating to learn some people's entire lives turn out to be negative experiences for them. I wish you all the best in the future, I hope your future holds some pleasant things in store. I personally have experienced injustices that saddened me for a long time- I found the feeling of sadness to be so draining- I hope you find a way to use your experiences to enrgize you towards a more accepting, more understanding and more just self. sometimes being just to yourself may seem hard to accomplish- there are so many people who readily expect our time and our help- making it easy to put ourselves last. I think it is important to remind ourselves OFTEN (lol) that regardless of the situation- people have choices- and choosing to not choose one of the available choices- is a choice in itself.
I hope you give yourself some time with yourself- and reflect upon what things you have been through- what you have learned as a result of those experiences (try to see your life from a third person's point of view- someone neutral, who has been observing you and your life)
and best of all- realize we are all here for a purpose- we can each make a difference- we can each have a positive impact.
Be what you might have been..
do what you can, with what you have, right now.
life is a gift- not an entitlement :) none of us know when our time is up- that is a reality.
