About:How to Get from Hangzhou to Shanghai

Getting from Putong Airport to Hangzhou at night at 2230

Hi,

I will be arriving at Putong Terminal 1 on a weekday night at around 2230, and I would like to go to Hangzhou, or as near to Hangzhou as possible. What are my options for buses and trains? I do not have to reach all the way to Hangzhou, a mid-way stop for a night's rest in a hotel before continuing on to Hangzhou is fine, just as long as I manage to reach Hangzhou as early as possible the following day.

If so, I think you can stay one night in SH on the day of your arrival and the bullet trains will be the best to travel from SH to Hangzhou.
If you can catch the last shuttle bus line 1 to reach Hongqiao Airport, you can take that bus to reach the airport and you can live nearby. Then in the next morning, you can walk to Hongqiao Railway Station.
If the last bus of line 1 cannot be catched, you can take the night line to reach Zhejiang Middle Road and find a hotel near the People Square. On the next morning, you can take the local subway line 2 to reach Hongqiao Railway Station to take the bullet trains.
