hua lou gou village

Question

Hello,Could you please tell me, where the Hua Lou Gou village is? Is it at the beginning of the Jinshanling Great Wall entrance, or is it at the end of the hiking trail in Simatai? Or maybe you have a map, to show it?

I heard that this village is just under the Jinshanling and you will start your journey from that village.

The hike from Jin Shan Ling to Simatai is in my opinion, a 62 year old grey nomad, MODERATE.  Nothing serious about it, hike pole is a bonus but not necessary.  The most dangerous thing is the hawakers trying to sell you a heavy picture book along the way !!
