About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

How easy would it be for a German & Australian citizen to leave the airport for a 7hr stop over in Guangzhou airport?

We are worried we might not be let back in. Do we need to get visas in advance or as we leave the airport? Is there much to do in GZ itself that would be worth leaving the airport for? Or is there enough entertainment at the airport itself e.g. like at Changi airport? Thanks.

If you want to get out of the airport, a visa is needed.
Actually, in the airport, you can find enough entertainment, so please do not worry.

Does anyone know if you need to apply for the visa beforehand or is it ok to get it after arrival in GZ?
