weather/clothes for trip to china.

Question

i am thinking of going to China next year (river cruise Shanghai to Beijing). Would May or October be best weather wise? Any info will be helpful. Many thanks.

Either May or Oct. can be good seaon to travel in China, but I have to remind you that the early May is their May Day Holiday and the first week of Oct. is their National Day Holiday. During that time, it will very crowded and you'd better avoid that period. As for the climate, sunny days will be the majority. It will be pleasant and comfortable to travel, with the average temp of around 22C.
