About:China Customs Declaration

Rices and spices through customs.

Hi,

We're visiting friends in Shanghai later this week. They've given us a list of stuff to bring that includes paella rice, risotto rice and some jars of spice (e.g cumin seeds). I'm unsure if these can be taken in or if they need to be declared? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
