2 days: datong-pingyao

I would like visit DT the first day and second day go to Pingyao whith one stop: Hanging Monastery

how much will it cost to hire a van whith driver?

I only hire a car to visit the Hanging Monastery and the Yungang Grottoes and the car's fare is around 300RMB.
So it is suggested to travel around DT on the first day by hiring a local car.
On the second day, you can take a long distance bus to reach Pingyao in around 4 to 4.5 hours.
