i will be going to beijng this coming july 12-16, 2013 with two of my friends.

Question

We already paid hotel  accomodation, air fare and land arangement. What do you suggest we buy there in terms of gadget like  mini ipad and how much is allowed for a tourist? Should we exceed our luggage, how much is per kilo for excess luggage. We will be taking Philippine Airlines when we go back to Philippines.

According to the regulations, it is allowed for one passenger to take at most 20,000 RMB cash or 5,000USD cash. If you take more, you may need to declare. Generally, a tourist can take out one new mini ipad that is got in China. I remember you have to pay tax for that. As for your lugagge on Phiippine Airline, they charge USD10 for per extra kilogram luggage.
