Transit in Shanghai for less than 72 hours

I am a British citizen teaching in Korea, with more than 6 months left on my ARC. If I book a return ticket from Incheon - Shanghai for less than 3 days (72 hours) is it possible to do this without having to get a Visa? Cheers

Hi, if you fly with a return ticket between Incheon and shanghai, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance through a travel agency from the embassy/consulate. 72 hour exemption is for transit passengers to a third country only.
