About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Guangzhou TWOV

Are there any further details on the TWOV 72-hour rule at Guangzhou and when it will be implemented? I would love to take a tour of the city during an upcoming 11-hour layover on 6/30 (LAX-CAN-MLE), but Visa websites are not yet showing details about the new TWOV rule.

Hi, I read that it may not be ready this June. If you will fly on 6/30, you are suggested to apply for a transit G in advance. Or you can make enquiry to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport directly via: 020-36066950
