Very few bags for storing in Xian

Hello,
I am going to that city on Wednesday (leaving a bit late!) and starting the hike on the Thursday for 2 days to return for a Saturday evening flight. I do not have a hotel booked so where do people keep bags? I am taking a small/medium size rucksack and looking at pictures no one has anything with them. Is there a place to drop bags off etc?

when you have your ticket at huashan,you can leave yr bag at huashan visitors center,

If you arrive in the city by plane, you can store your luggage at the airport. The luggage storing center is at Departure and Arrival Halls in T2 and Departures, next to oversized baggage check-in in T3.
If you arrive the city by train, you can store your luggage just at the train station. On the east side of the Exit of the railway station, the luggage storing place can be found.
