About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Guangzhou 72 hours transit

We are flying from Sweden back to Australia in september this year. We are having a stopover for 3 days in Guangzhou. According to this website we do not need a visa, but when we ask travel agency (which also called the chinese consulate and the southern china airline) they had no idea. Anyone who knows?

According to the news report, the 72 hours free transit policy was already in June. But I didn't get any official response. You may call the airport customs at (86) 020-81101991 for details.
