About:Chengdu Weather

What are the rain storms like in early August in Chengdu?

Are the rainstorms similar to South East Asia's rainy season where the rainstorms come and go and there is sun every day? Or are they more like the US where the rain clouds can last for days before any sun comes out?

It is more like the US. During August, it is cloudy in most of the time and thunder storm usually occur.
