About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If I am arrive at shanghai on 20th june at 7.30am and leave for korea via same shanghai airport at 6.06pm on 22nd june, will I need a visa??

How would I get this permit or how would shanghai police or etc know im there for only 3 days??

The police might not know how long you stay there. But the immigration checkpoint does know it. You won't be allowed to enter if you are not eligible for it.
