In ancient time, Chinese ancestors lived along that river because of the wild climate and plenty water for the growth of the crops. Once people lived there, ancient culture began to appear there. Later, Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties started their countries along that river. The river gave Chinese people a good place to live and then gave birth to Chinese culture, so that it was called Mother River of China.
