Mid january I quit my job in Macau and left. Am I able to now visit on a tourist visa?

I am an Australian and quit my job four months ago to move back to Australia. I am now wanting to go back to visit some friends.

You are exempted from visa to Macao for 30 days, so you can visit with your passport, return ticket and hotel booking.

Do you know if your employer in Macau cancelled your work visa? Did you have a multiple-entry originally? If multiple-entry, you may find that it is still valid. If not, or you're unsure, you can come back on a tourist L without problem. There is no penalty incurred because you quit your job.
