About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hours in Beijing

I am booked from San Francisco to Beijing to Sydney, with about 70 hours of time on the ground in China. I think this meets the requirements. I just want to be sure there is no paperwork to fill out in advance. Will they give me any trouble boarding in San Francisco without a visa in hand? Thanks! Great site with good answers!

Before you land at Beijing, you may be asked to fill a form for 72 hours free transit on the flight. You should have valid visa for Sydney before you set off from San Francisco. The officers at the checkpoint might check it.
