going to putuoshan with a dog ?

Helle, I plan to go to Putuoshan with a dog.I already know that some hotels are ok.But I have no ideas of :- Are dogs allowed in the speed boat ?- Are they really allowed on the island ?Thanks in advance for your help !

The policy does not allowed to take the pet on the boat, but I saw some tourists take. So it is suggested to take a small cage just in case.The dogs can be taken on the island, so please do not worry about it.
