Passport photo size for application?

I have to affix a passport photo on my application. What size does it need to be?

the size of the photo should measure 33 mm (wide) by 48 mm (high). Two copies of the your recent photo taken within the last 6 months. The background of the photos must be white, with no shadows over the face or the background.
