Need advices on baggage storage

Hello there, this is my first time traveling to china. My flight will arrive at shanghai in the morning, i plan to have a day tour at shanghai and take train to Beijing. I have 1 checked bag and 1 carry on at normal size with me. My train will leave at 21:45pm. where should i store my luggage? Will the train station offer such service? How much would that cost?

P.S: The train that i'm taking is D train, which does not provide luggage consignment. When should i arrive back at the station to consign my stuffs? How am i suppose to get my checked bag( say it's at other station)?
