About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

US passport holder residing in Phils.

Plan to travel to Shanghai on June 18-23 to visit my sister. I have several old visas on my passport. All past ones were facilitated by travel agent. Can I apply in Chinese Embassy in Phils? What docs do i need to bring? What does " proof of residency, work or study in Philippines" mean?

That means they need proof that the applicants are long-term residents in Phils, not tourists only. It is ok for you to apply here if you are residing here.
