Travelling in HK by taxi or by public transport

Hi We have 4 adults and 2 childrens under 7yrs old travelling from our hotel Royal plaza Hotel in Mongkok to Disneyland first day and then Ocean park the next day. Could you please advise how can we get to those places by public transport from our hotel and how much does it cost for us. If we travel by taxi, can all of us fit in 1 taxi or do we need 2 taxis and how much does it cost to travel by taxi? Thank you very much

Since you have six people, you may need two taxis.
Taxi in HK can hold 5 people at most, so I do not think the taxi is the best transport.
To reach Disneyland from Mongkok, you need to use the MTR. So the fare is around 20HK$ for an adult and 9.5HK$ for per kid. If you use taxi, the fare for one taxi is around 100 to 120HK$.
If you go to the Ocean Park, you need to reach Admiralty West where you can find direct bus 629 to take you to reach that park. Bus 629 costs 10.60HK$ per adult and the child can get a 50% off discount. I am not very clear about the taxi fare to reach Ocean Park.
