About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

Internal flights allow standard size carryon bags but limit weight to absurd 11 lbs. Is this true?

My standard carry-on, while meeting the dimensional limits, itself weighs 10 lbs. Are they serious about the 11 lbs limit?

I'm afraid yes. A passenger by domestic plane is allowed to take along at most 5kg (about 11lbs) hand luggage.
