Apartments and House for Rent in Shantou?

I am thinking about teaching in ST University, but don't want to live in campus housing. Are there residential areas that offer affordable housing for a family of three? And is there, by any chance, a private French, British or American elementary school? Thanks for your help.

Yes, apartments can be rent nearby the university, but it is suggested ask the local people to help you to rent one. You can ask the staff in the university to help you.
I am afraid that I am not very clear about the school condition there, so I still suggest you to ask help for your university or your colleges. As far as I know, foreign teachers in ST University come from about 18 countries, so I think you can get most of your problems solved from them.
