The two places are in the city time zone. The average temperature is around 25 to 30C and it may rain from June 7 to June 9.
The expense for a bowl of chicken rice is around 10 to 15RMB.
The local high speed train and metro are the best transport to move around.
One ringgit equals to about 9.7TWD.
The clothes are cheap and the main languge is Taiwan Dialect, but the English can also be used.
For the food to eat, I only know the fish ball and Braised Port Rice are very famous and delicious.

The TWD is used on that island. One RMB equals to about 4.8TWD. One RMB equals to about 0.5 Ringgit.
The language is neither mandarin nor hokkien. They have Taiwan Hokkien, the Hokkien dialect of Min Nan.
The metro means the local subway system. The opening time is around 09:30 to 10:00. The close time is around 21:00 to 22:00.
For night market, Shilin Night Market in Taipei is suggested and it will close around 0:00 to 02:00am. The market is in Shilin area and you can ask the local people to find it easily.
The prices can be negotiated.
